Government grants of £7,500 to £9,000 towards a heat pump
Grants are available towards qualifying heat pump installations, and Atlas Energy manages the whole process from start to finish. You do not fill in forms or chase anyone, we do it all and take the grant value straight off your price.
Air source heat pump
£7,500
The standard £7,500 grant is available for replacing an existing fossil-fuel heating system, typically a mains gas boiler, oil, LPG or electric heating, with an air-to-water air source heat pump at a property you own. The property must not be a new build, social housing, or already have received government funding for a heat pump or biomass boiler, and the installation must be commissioned within 120 days of applying.
Enhanced grant
£9,000
An increased amount is available only for off-grid homes currently heated by oil or LPG, for applications made between 21 July 2026 and 31 March 2027. We confirm which figure applies to you.
